Rebar: Backbone Of A Strong Pool

The next step in building a new pool after excavation is the installation of rebar. The steel framework gives your pool it’s sturdy base that will stand up to the test of time. This is a crucial step in the pool construction process, Think of the rebar like the the skeleton for the concrete.

Let’s nerd out for a second, Did you know there are not only different sixes of rebar but different grades even? Yup, some are significantly stronger than others, we only use the best of the best: 1/2 inch Grade 60 Rebar. We believe that using the highest quality materials ensures that our pools are built to last. Also while many builders use 12-inch spacing for their rebar, we take extra care to space our rebar centers no more than 9 inches apart. In areas where the pool experiences the most stress, we even use 4-inch transitional alternates for added reinforcement.

We pride ourselves on building pools that stand the test of time and provide our customers with a lifetime of enjoyment. We have never had a structural failure due to too little steel. We will never sacrifice long term durability and peace of mind to save a few dollars!
